Access
Most rides, attractions, games, gift shops, and food stands are accessible to all our guests. Knoebels is committed to providing a safe environment for our guests and strictly enforces safety regulations in accordance with the Pennsylvania Rides Safety and Liability Act and Pennsylvania State Amusement Ride Inspection Act. Knoebels reserves the right to deny any guest admission to any ride.

Ride Accessibility Program
As a courtesy, Knoebels offers a Ride Accessibility Program allowing guests to board rides through exit gates (or another designated accessible entrance). This program is for guests with permanent physical and mental disabilities. Guests who would like to participate in the program must present a valid IBCCES Accessibility Card at a Guest Services location at the park. Guests must register for an IBCCES Accessibility Card at www.accessibilitycard.org.
This program allows the participating card holder and one (1) additional guest (two (2) total) to board the rides through the exit gate. Flying Turns is weight based, with a maximum of 400 lbs. If both riders are over the weight capacity, the participating guest will have to ride alone. The Flying Turns attraction only allows 1 ride per guest, whether disabled or not. Everyone must disembark after each ride.
The accessibility card holder MUST RIDE in order for the additional guest accompanying him/her to enter the ride through the exit gate. One or more accompanying guests must be able to physically assist the disabled guest on and off the ride if assistance is required. Ride operators are not permitted or trained to physically assist guests onto or off the rides.
All height and medical restrictions still apply to each ride. Ride tickets or a ride pass must still be purchased to ride each ride. The accessibility wristband guest must still pay to ride each attraction, with either a ride pass or tickets. Please note you may be required to wait 30 minutes before returning to re-ride our more popular rides using the program.
The participating guest must visit Guest Services each day of their visit in order to utilize the program.
IBCCES Accessibility Card Registration
To register for the IBCCES Accessibility Card (IAC), guests must visit www.accessibilitycard.org and upload the required information into a secure, online portal. Once a guest has filled out the online application and uploaded necessary documentation, they will be able to access their digital IAC. All guests must show their valid IAC at a Guest Services location in the park to participate in the Ride Accessibility Program.
Only IBCCES can issue the IBCCES Accessibility Card and NOT Knoebels. IBCCES conducts an audit to confirm the efficacy of information provided for the IBCCES Accessibility Card application. Individuals found to be fraudulently requesting or using the program will be asked to leave and may be permanently banned from the park.
Low Sensory Room
Located in the former location of Lost Logger near our kiddie area: Guests with sensory processing needs, such as children, teens, and adults on the autism spectrum, are welcome to utilize this room for a calming, sensory-friendly space.
To ensure cleanliness and proper use, this facility is protected by a key code that is changed weekly. To obtain key code: Call (800) 487-4386 x 0, or visit a Guest Services location: Across from Giant Wheel, At Main Park Office & In Kozmo’s Klubhouse.
Please note the sounds of the park may still be heard, such as the carousel band organ and a train whistle approximately every 10 minutes. However, we hope this space will allow a brief respite from the louder or more overstimulating noises and environments.
This room was designed to be used for short periods of time as needed. We kindly request you respect the needs of other guests using the space.
Parking
Handicap parking is provided for vehicles displaying a handicapped placard or license plate. These parking spaces are located in the front of the parking lot and at the tram shelters. Ask a Parking Attendant for assistance, if you are not sure where to go.
Mobility Devices
All guests using mobility devices, whether personal or rented, must follow all manufacturer operating guidelines and park safety rules. For the safety of all guests, golf carts, segways, bicycles, scooters, shoes with built-in wheels, ATVs, UTVs, remote-controlled devices, and hoverboards are not permitted.
Personal mobility devices are permitted, however they must travel no faster than 3mph, have three or more permanently fastened wheels that are the size of a standard ECV, and be similar in size to those available for rental at Knoebels. All personal devices are subject to approval by Knoebels’ management. To check in advance, please contact Guest Services seven or more days prior to visit.
Our Rental Center has wheelchairs, electric convenience vehicles, and strollers available for rent at a daily fee. When renting, a drivers license is required as a security deposit. Guests must be 18 years of age to rent an ECV. ECVs may be reserved in advance by calling the Rental Center at 1-800-487-4386.
Restrooms
Most restrooms at Knoebels are wheelchair accessible. There are “Family Restrooms” available for guests who require assistance from members in their party. The Adult Care Center is located at the restrooms behind Pizza. This center is for adult or child personal hygiene needs. First Aid
The First Aid Station is located at the end of the Park Office Building, across from the Flyer Ride. It is staffed from 9:00 am to approximately 1 hour after the park closes by a professionally trained Emergency Medical Technician, Paramedic, and / or Licensed Practical Nurse.
The First Aid Station is prohibited by law to fill oxygen cylinders. There are no accommodations in the First Aid Station for adult or child personal hygiene needs. The “Family Restrooms” or the “Adult Care Center” may be used for those needs.
Riding the Rides
Guests with recent surgery, heart problems, high blood pressure, neck or back problems, seizures, pregnancy, or have any other condition that may be aggravated by riding must use discretion in selecting which rides to ride. You know your medical history, limitations, and restrictions, Knoebels does not. Therefore, YOU must use good judgment when deciding which rides to ride. Our primary concern is your ability to endure the dynamics of a ride without risk to yourself, other riders, or staff members. If you suspect your health could be at risk, or you could aggravate a pre-existing condition, DO NOT RIDE. We encourage you to watch each ride through it’s loading, operating and unloading cycle to understand its operation. This allows you to gather information about the ride and make an informed decision about which rides to go on.
All guests should be aware that, although remote, there is always the possibility that mechanical problems, power failure, or adverse weather conditions could occur leading to the sudden stoppage of a ride. In that event, riders may be required to evacuate the ride over catwalks or travel down steeply inclined ramps or steps. All guests MUST BE ABLE to evacuate themselves or with assistance from a member of their party. All guests must fit properly into all ride restraint systems. If a guest does not fit properly in the restraint system, they will not be able to ride that ride.
Ride Release Card
A Ride Release Card is required to be carried by a person who is wearing a brace, sling, splint, cast or prosthetic device.
This card serves as a notice of understanding that the injury did not occur at Knoebels, and that the person is accepting full responsibility and will ride in accordance with the Rides Restriction form provided with the Ride Release Card. Guests who wish to review ride restrictions can do so in advance, but must still visit First Aid to obtain the card.
Service Animals
Service Animals must be under the owner’s control at all times. Owners are responsible for cleaning-up and disposing of their animal’s waste.
